In the Beginning:
In fall of 2007 Micheala decided she wanted to start showing goats. We purchased our first goat "Aftershock's Guadian Angel " aka "Ms. Goat's Alot" from Mr. Huffman. Instantly we were in love. OK now that we had her we really did not know what to do with her other than love her. So the story begins. Next we purchased two goats. One wether "Tiko" and One Doe "Tsunami" from Beth and Jessica Johnson. Michaela, Tiko & Tsunami did well considering. Tiko placed in the top three in every show but one. Tsunami did not do as well but was always in the top 10. Tiko won first place at two shows and took 2nd place at the state fair. It was truly a show season of ups and downs. However, I can say that I am much more knowledgeable now than I was one year ago. There are very few days that go by that I do not learn something new about our goat family. We will continue to build on our knowledge during the 2009 show season. I would personally like to thank Beth and Jessica Johnson for ALL their support during the 2008 season. We would have never made it though our first show without them let a lone the 2008 Show Season.... I am sure that we supplied them with a few good laughs and unfortunately I am sure we will continue to.
